Course Overview
Build confidence using practical Spanish in restaurants, cafés, markets, supermarkets, and everyday travel situations.
This friendly and interactive course focuses on useful vocabulary, real-life conversations, and commonly used phrases to help students communicate naturally while travelling or dining in Spanish-speaking countries.
Week 1 (1st April)
Breakfast & Favourite Foods
- Breakfast vocabulary and essentials
- Talking about favourite foods
- Expressing likes and dislikes
- Using phrases such as Me gusta and No me gusta
Weeks 2, 3 & 4 (15th, 22nd & 29th April)
Shopping & Food Vocabulary
- Navigate markets and supermarkets like a local
- Learn key food items and useful everyday phrases
Understanding Menus
- Decode Spanish menus with confidence
- Recognise common dishes and ingredients
Ordering Like a Pro
- Order food and drinks confidently
- Practice real-life restaurant conversations
Handling the Bill
- Ask for the bill using practical Spanish phrases
- Understand prices and payment vocabulary
Building Vocabulary
- Frequently used questions and answers
- Extra phrases to boost confidence in conversation
Final Session
- Course recap and open Q&A
- Practice using Spanish in real-life scenarios
