Description

Our Acoustic Guitar course offers a relaxed and enjoyable approach for absolute beginners and improvers alike. Whether it’s your first time learning the acoustic guitar, or you have been playing for a while and what to improve your technique, this focused six-week course is for you.

The course will focus on the fundamental left and right hand techniques, warm ups, chords, how to read guitar tablature (TAB), and much more. Printed resources will be provided for each lesson to support the instruction taught.

Participants will need the following:

• (Ideally) have your own acoustic guitar to bring to class and practice at home.
• (Optional) Folder for printed resources
• (Optional note pad or copy)
• Pencil or Pen
• Guitar Picks (ideally medium to hard stiffness).

Week 2 - Positioning and chords

Week 3 - Rhythm and chords

Week 4 - Guitar tablature

Week 5 - Basic scales and songs

Week 6- Signatures and performing

Refund Policy

Fees are paid in full on enrolment and are refunded if course does not run. The college reserves the right to close a course and refund fees by electronic transfer. All other courses must remain viable and be self-financing: therefore NO REFUNDS, under any circumstances, are available once a course has commenced. A participant will not be permitted to commence a course unless it has been paid for in full by the learner prior to commencement
